Busy schedule? Traveling? Garden Pro Care visits can be performed on a weekly basis, twice a month, or as-needed. We will even harvest for you! Pricing varies based on square footage of garden space, your level of involvement, and distance from our home base in Eckington, DC.
Schedule Options
Weekly Visits are for gardening novices, or those who love the garden, but don’t have the time or know-how to make it thrive. You won’t have to worry about garden care at all – just relax and enjoy the harvest! We come every week to make sure the garden has everything it needs. We catch any problems sooner rather than later, do all your thinning, fertilizing, pruning, re-seeding, and keep the garden up to speed.
Full Maintenance is limited to certain areas in and around DC, and depends on our client base.
Twice a Month Visits are for people who are already fairly garden-savvy. We rely on you for day to day garden care and trouble shooting, attending to watering needs, thinning, weeding, etc. We come twice a month to catch you up on garden care, manage soil health, do successional plantings, harvest, and make sure nothing is diseased or in need of replacing.
As Needed is for clients who are expert gardeners and only need help from time to time when you are away, when things get busy, or for assistance with Spring/Summer/Fall plantings or catching up with the weeds.

Garden Coaching Programs
We can also arrange for Garden Pro Care visits to be at a regular time of the week that is convenient for you. We will work shoulder to shoulder with you, teaching as we go. Throughout the season you will learn the intricacies of growing your own urban banquet!
Because Coaching Visits are at set times, they are priced at a slightly higher rate than regular maintenance. This helps us accommodate extra driving and scheduling needs.
All routine garden materials are included with both programs:
- All Routine Soil Amendments:
- All Routine Pest Remedies: Organic Sprays and Oils
- Vegetable Transplants and Seeds (does not include perennial flowers and herbs)
- Row Covers and support rods to protect plants from insects and frost
- Cages, Netting, and Pins
- Simple Irrigation Fixes
- Replacement Batteries for Timer
- Mulching for Open Beds
- Raised Bed Repair
Larger items and one-time garden additions (like new builds, additional trellising, new perennial plants or pots) are not included in the program pricing.
