Galen Terrace Apartments
COMMUNITY GARDEN
With the help of community volunteers, we installed this educational vegetable garden for the young residents of Galen Terrace Apartments in 2014. Since then, it has been a place of joy for residents of all ages. Community members are invited to plant and harvest what they wish, and the kids of Galen Terrace met bi-weekly with our Urban Farmers for a hands on lesson. We find that kids are much more likely to eat veggies if they grow them themselves!
